HOW DOES IT WORK?

Splendor x by Lumenis uses a laser light energy with a specific wavelength. During treatment, lasers emit energy in the from of light onto the skin. The melanin in the hair absorbs this energy and converts it into heat which then destroys the hair follicle to prevent or stop future growth. BLEND X technology harnesses the power of two wavelengths for greater effectiveness for hair-free skin.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Thanks to BLEND X technology, you should need fewer sessions than with a treatment using just a single laser wavelength. It blends two laser wavelengths to harness their power and unique properties- and achieve better results. 

Lasers are effective when hair is at an early growth stage. Because not all hairs will be at the same stage at the same time, you’ll need multiple treatments to permanently remove the unwanted hair.

IS IT RIGHT FOR ME?

SPLENDOR X is generally suitable for all skin tones and for all body areas and types of hair. 

BEFORE YOU COME IN (PRE TREATMENT)

  • Regularly apply sunscreen

  • Avoid lengthly sun exposure

  • Avoid waxing, threading, tweezing, and epilator

  • Shave the night before your session

  • Come to your appointment without applying any lotions or deodrant

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT ( POST TREATMENT)

  • Apply sunscreen to treated areas

  • Avoid direct sun exposure 24-48 hours after laser

  • Avoid use of deodorants or fragrance on treated areas as long as skin is sensitive

  • Maintain moisturizer on the skin

  • Do not tweeze wax or pluck in-between sessions

  • Come in every 4-6 weeks

  • Avoid heat (sweating, sauna) 24-48 hours after your session
